Thanks a lot for the latest update. It's really bringing many benefits. To me especially the "presets" are very handy, always having two good kicks ready.

The "shift+decay" combo for changing the sidechain envelope got me thinking whether it would be possible to do the same with the "punch" and "bend". It would open up so many more possibilities to shape the kicks. Personally I like bend shorter than the whole decay.

As if this wasn't enough to ask I'd also like to have envelope control for "drive". I imagined something like "shift+drive" fully clockwise would keep distortion always on and dialling back counter clockwise will make an envelope get pluckier. I'd like that because often kicks have (or at least the ones I like) distorted transients and a clean tail.

Lastly to me it would seem easier to understand if the sidechain envelope length were the combo "shift+sidechain depth".

Here is my two cents for V2 firmware.

I love the idea of ​​presets, but it's a shame that the Bass cut feature will be replaced.

So I'm wondering if you can add an edit mode (for example: hold down the Trigger button for 5 seconds).

When the module is in edit mode, users can design their own presets and select preset slots through the "side chain depth knob". When the "Side Chain Depth Knob" is turned, the Trigger LED light will flash to show the user that they are currently at the next preset.

I can't seem to update the firmware. I connected it using the daisy web programmer, but after I click "connect", nothing happens.

The computer (windows) does give a sound saying something is connected, and the module has a red led light that's on.

What gives?

Hi! I'm just throwing out a suggestion to include the possability to adjust the volume level of the click sound in a future update. I always keep it a minimum as I think it is too loud. Otherwise I really, really love my Kickain!
