Glide mode?

I sometimes mash or rhythmically press the shift button, which can make interesting glitchy note drop outs and such. While doing this, the Monumatic has twice now, activated a 'glide mode' where mono notes are all gliding between eachother and poly notes occasionally glide. When first entering this 'mode', I noticed that the attack knob, which was turned up due to a shift operation for volume, jumped immediately to the knob position. The change in sound persists until I power cycle the unit. I cannot figure out how to recreate this consistently. Am I toggling some intended behaviour or is this some kind of glitch/bug?

This is intended behavior. When you toggle between Mono and Poly mode Monumatic kills any active notes which will produce the glitch in sound.

Pressing Shift can activate the alternative knob functions but it only activates when a knob is turned, although used aggressively it could sometimes falsely detect knob movement - glide is linked to Decay , volume is Attack etc. you don’t need to power cycle, just hold Shift and turn Decay knob to zero then release Shift, the decay envelope won’t be affected.
