Along with a firmware update we have just released a new version of the Pianophonic factory sound card which is now available to download from our website here. We improved the resynthesis algorithm which now produces much smoother and cleaner wavetables so we thought we’d start by reprocessing all the resynthesised sounds in the factory library. The end result is a set of clearer and purer sounds that don’t suffer from any low frequency rumbling which could cause clicks and pops on some systems. If you miss the original sounds they are still available in the factory sounds folder along with the new version SD1_smooth.
