I’ll take a look at this on Monday. The beep is the sound of preferences being saved. Did you try a full reset, switch on while holding shift for 2 secs.

This feature is now implemented in V2.1.0. To make it work requires cv control and putting the unit into ‘pluck mode’ by holding Shift and Trigger for 2 seconds .

Midi C as offsets is now implemented in firmware v2.1.0.

This feature is now in firmware 2.1.0. Holding Shift and turning Cutoff adds more of the effect.

Kickain is shipping mid June. Pre orders are open at most resellers.

If you press Shift 4 rapidly 4 times it will invoke panic mode and kill all voices.

Good news. Polyphonic cv trig will be appearing in the next firmware revision.

Currently it can’t be done with CV. It’s an interesting proposition though, similar in functionality to the qubit surface using an arpeggiated cv input to strum chords. I’ll look into it.

The Vector and mmMidi use type B trs connectors. The Poly Cinematic uses type A so plugging a trs to trs cable from the Vector won’t work. Instead you should connect a type B to 5 pin din breakout to the Vector and use the blue trs midi cable that came with the Poly Cinematic.

Did you factory reset the module after? Going from 2.01 to 2.02 won’t reset automatically. To reset, power up whilst holding down shift for 2 secs.

V2.02 fix uploaded onto the website now. You may need to factory reset after. Apparently the cc disable function was permanently disabling the cc even after a reset, all good now.

I’ve raised a support ticket for this issue.

Sorry to hear that the problem still persists. For the pc check that a) you have installed the latest windows update and b) look at the device manager and check if the module appears there with the correct driver?

If you see DFU in FS mode it’s a good sign, but it doesn’t sound like it’s connecting. May be a driver issue. But I’m no windows expert. Anyone else feel free to chime I here.

Hi There, Thanks for your suggestions. 1) I’m not sure how to handle the polyphony in your proposal, would all 8 voices be droning? As an alternative method have you tried pulling out the midi trs cable, this will play the current notes indefinitely. Or continuous triggering might work, there is new firmware coming out in mid January that can be retriggered without note stealing. 2) trigger out is already top of my list for hardware improvements, it would open up many paraphonic eg/filter options in the modular world, unfortunately the trigger in can not be repurposed as an output but I’ll have a think about this.

The factory chords are a selection of popular chords used in house and techno music together with a few octave spreads and other useful intervals. Factory chords or saved user chords are not overwritten with a firmware update.
