I’ve just released a new firmware version. 1. Bugfix: This fixes a bug in 1.1.1 that could cause voices to crash with midi pitch bend after reverting to factory settings. 2. Arpeggio Feature: For those of you who like to use gate without voct to trigger chords, this has been enhanced to offer arpeggios when Mono is pressed. In poly mode, if voct isn’t patched, the gate will trigger the current chord since v1.1.1 3. Brighter LED. The trigger button is now brighter and visible longer when showing note a activity.

I’ve just uploaded version 3.7.6 for poly cinematic. This is a bug fix that solves some midi issues I recently noticed. There was a situation where the All note off command sent from a sequencer when stopped could introduce some erroneous pitch bend to poly cinematic. Midi clock and other transport related messages could also corrupt the midi input and this is all now fixed in 3.7.6. Let me know if you notice any other issues but I think this is the most robust version to date particularly if used with a DAW.

Today we’ve released firmware version 1.1.2 for Pianophonic. This addresses some stability issues when load from the SD card. We are also releasing a new factory sound card SD1_Smooth, this includes all the original factory sounds only they have been reprocessed using a new smoothing algorithm. The smooth versions are less susceptible to low frequency artifacts which could cause clipping and popping on some systems. Check it out here.

2.1 is now available from the downloads section of our website. A big thanks to Anders Pierson, dtnl, Matt and Daniel for your suggestions which all made it into this release. Changes include: Pluck Mode - Polyphonic note overlapping from single CV control. Midi CC improvements - most midiCC values now work as offsets to the knob values. Stereo Voice Spread - notes from chords are individually panned across the stereo field.(Hold Shift and Cutoff to adjust width) Release Hold - Turning Release to max will hold vca open indefinitely. Also some bugfixes which include better compatibility with Octatrack and some older Roland controllers. Full changelog and flashing instructions included with firmware download.
